Job summary

HMSHost in Philadelphia is seeking a Cashier to complete sales transactions and support adjacent tasks in the dining or service area. The role is non-exempt and requires attentiveness to accuracy and service quality.

You will handle cash and card payments, provide friendly service to customers, maintain knowledge of products, assist with stocking and cleaning, and perform other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 10lbs.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
