Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, PA is seeking a full-time Cage Cashier/ Supervisor to oversee the Cage Department operations. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, supervising the Cage team, and ensuring accurate cash handling and compliance with Title 31 and internal policies.

The role requires at least 6 months in cage banking, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid PGCB license.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Six (6) months of experience in all Cage Banks is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid PGCB license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience with computers and software is required.
• Customer service experience is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Performs the duties of a Cage Cashier as needed.
• Carries out departmental procedures.
• Trains, schedules and evaluates personnel in keeping with Mount Airy Casino Resort objectives.
• Maintains appropriate staffing levels for all shifts within the Cage Department.
• Develop, implement, monitor and edit working schedules, time and attendance reports for Cage Employees.
• Directly supervises the operation and conduct of the Casino Cage.
• Assumes the responsibility for the controlling and accounting activity within the casino cage for each shift and for adherence to regulations and policies regarding cage.
• Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Cage Department Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitors daily activity regarding Title 31 cash reporting.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding Mount Airy Casino Resort's financial and business activities.
• Maintain and secure necessary controls for the Cage operations including all Cage satellites and outlets.
• Provides exceptional service to all patrons and internal customers and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
• Maintains a professional work environment.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Attend all necessary training meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience in all Cage Banks required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Previous experience in the use of personal computers and software is required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills required.

• Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
• Continuously bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, bend, lift and push/pull.
• Continuously carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Occasionally climb heights and reach above shoulder level.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.

• Must be able to function well in a noisy casino environment.
• Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and verbal cues.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
