Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Cage Washer to safely perform routine cage sanitation and preparation for reuse in the assigned areas. The role includes monitoring equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions, and following all safety procedures.

You will operate cage wash units, assist in installation of caging and equipment, and work as part of a team. A High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience are expected, with a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED with 6 months - 1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions and respond to directions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment routine start-up and shut down procedures.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of cage washing areas and related spaces.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and cage wash units according to SOPs.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and report hazards to supervisor.
• Work as part of a team and follow all safety rules and company procedures.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
