Qualifications

• Must have previous casino cage or cash-handling experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred (property dependent).
• Solid knowledge of Title 31 and gaming regulations.
• Excellent math skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cage operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and staffing.
• Assist cashiers with transaction issues, approvals, variances, and questions.
• Review cashier paperwork, banks, transactions, and system reports.
• Audit cashier drawers and safe funds; investigate discrepancies.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate cage personnel to uphold best practices.
• Enforce Title 31/AML compliance and complete required reporting.
• Communicate with management, surveillance, security, and other departments.
• Support guest service escalations and emergency procedures.
• Process a wide range of monetary transactions including checks, currency exchanges, markers, credit card advances, and chip redemptions.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain records of all transactions.
• Verify identification, authenticate documents, and follow AML procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries professionally and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain security and integrity of funds, keys, forms, and cage assets.
