Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Main Banker to oversee the complete operation of the Main Bank at our gaming facility. You will balance funds, follow cash handling procedures, maintain bankrolls, and ensure guest and team safety. You may also fill in as Cage Cashier as needed.

This role requires 1–2 years of cashiering or banking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a Racing License. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success.

JOB SUMMARY

The Main Banker is responsible and accountable for the complete operation of the Main Bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for accurate balancing and oversight of gaming facility funds.
• Follow all policies and procedures as it relates to cash handling and the Main Bank.
• Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls.
• Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests.
• Review vault activities with Cash Operations and Player Services leadership team.
• Fill-in as a Cage Cashier as necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Maintaining a professional working relationship among all internal and external guests.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the Main Bank.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One to two years of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
