Job summary

Newport Racing & Gaming in Newport, Kentucky is seeking an entry level Main Banker to balance and oversee the Main Bank within the gaming facility. You will monitor cash flows, ensure accurate daily balances, and review vault activity with leadership to protect assets and support smooth operations.

Requirements include one to two years of cashiering or banking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a Racing License.

JOB SUMMARY

The Main Banker is responsible and accountable for balancing and oversight of the Main Bank within the gaming facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for accurate balancing and oversight of gaming facility funds.
• Follow all policies and procedures as it relates to cash handling and the Main Bank.
• Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls.
• Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests.
• Review vault activities with Cash Operations and Player Services leadership team.
• Fill-in as a Cage Cashier as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One to two years of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
