Job summary

Four Winds Casino New Buffalo in Michigan seeks a Cage/Credit Supervisor to assist the Cage/Credit Director in accurate, compliant accounting within the Finance Department, under Gaming Commission and tax rules.

You will supervise Cage Supervisors and staff, help develop policies, manage access to funds, oversee Keno cash transactions, audits, and reporting, and ensure high service levels across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, accounting or related area, or four to six years related experience and/or training.
• Minimum of three (3) years in accounting, preferably in banking operations, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisory/managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cage Director and Cage Manager with development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Access funds and ensure prompt distribution to appropriate areas of property.
• Process all Keno cash transactions; follow procedures for sale and payout of tickets.
• Maintain staffing levels in the Cage/Credit Division, including interviewing, training and scheduling.
• Ensure integrity of financial data produced by employees under span of control.
• Monitor financial activities to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
• Coordinate audits relating to bank boards, guest deposits and rotation logs.
• Supervise Cage Supervisors and staff; preside over meetings and communicate across the department.
• Review departmental reports for accuracy and make revisions as needed.
