POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, responsible for reconciling and dispensing casino cage cash, coin, chips, and records activities of the credit office, ensuring timely processing of transactions in accordance with established guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Maintain protection of large amounts of currency, ensuring prevention of loss by providing care and attention to detail.
2. Summarize and inventory all casino cage cash, coin, chips, and records.
3. Process all casino deposits.
4. Coordinate transactions between cashiers and the main bank.
5. Function as a window cashier as needed.
6. Maintain accurate and complete records of exchanges and transactions.
7. Ensure procedures and controls are followed to protect counted receipts.
8. Monitor changes or issues affecting currency security in the Count Room and report to the Count Room Supervisor.
9. Transfer documentation to the Accounting Department daily.
10. Prepare funds with proper documentation for transfer to the Cage Department.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately account for large amounts of cash.
• Ability to be physically mobile and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in areas with dust, secondhand smoke, noise, varying temperatures, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
