Job summary

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is seeking a casino associate to greet guests, handle cash transactions, and support guest service standards on site. The role may include assisting in sports wagering operations and requires compliance with AML regulations.

Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Prior cashier experience is preferred and ability to obtain necessary licensing is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years cashier or related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shift, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

• Greets and services customers in accordance with established guest service standards.
• Handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks.
• Processes checks.
• Computes, classifies, records, and verifies cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards.
• Provides even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash. Processes jackpots. Provides change and breaks down bills.
• Balances funds and assets at end of work shift.
• Responsible for sports wagering ticket redemption at a dedicated cage window.
• Ability to work as a Sportsbook Writer before or after a scheduled shift in addition to days off.
• Responds to guest questions and concerns.
• Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
