Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a dual-rate team member to perform Cage Cashier and Main Banker duties at Turfway Park Racing & Gaming in Florence, KY. This role requires 2–5 years in gaming or banking operations and the ability to obtain a regulatory license.

Availability nights, holidays, and weekends is required. Ideal candidates have prior cash handling experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to guest service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of higher education or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2-5 years’ experience in gaming or banking operations.
• Must be able to obtain license to work at facility from regulatory body.

Responsibilities

• Cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering questions courteously.
• Accurately counting and recording funds and making exchanges to balance the drawer.
• Keeping cash drawer balanced and balanced with vault exchanges.
• Verifying and documenting personal ID information for check and cash advances.
• Completing CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.
• Maintaining customer relations and ensuring safety for employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Main Banker: control over gaming and adherence to policies, maintain bankrolls, ensure safety, review vault activity, may substitute as Cage Cashier.

Education

JOB SUMMARY

This dual rate team member will perform Cage Cashier duties and Main Banker duties on different days.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift. Assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
• Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed. Making exchanges with vault.
• Verifying and documenting personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
• Completing CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.
• Responsible for customer relations. Ensure safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned

Main Banker Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate control over gaming
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
• Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls
• Ensures the safety and security of employees and customers. Manages process and procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries.
• Review vault activities with Cash Operations Supervisor and/or Manager of Cash Operations and Player Services.
• May be asked to substitute as a Cage Cashier from time to time.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years of higher education or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2-5 years’ experience in gaming or banking operations.
• Must be able to obtain license to work at facility from regulatory body.

Must be available to work when needed, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
