Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley is hiring a Cage Cashier to handle a range of money-related tasks and guest services on the casino floor. You will balance drawers, process jackpots, and perform check-cashing while using cashier software and currency processing machines.

Ideal candidates maintain strict accuracy, watch for unusual activity, and comply with Gaming Regulations. Prior money handling is a plus; GRA licensing is required.

Qualifications

Money handling experience preferred but not required.
Must secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
Follow all Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised.

Responsibilities

Accurately balance money received and disbursed at the assigned bank drawer.
Process large jackpots, guest transactions, and check-cashing services.
Redeem coupons, coins, chips, and tokens for cash and handle checks.
Operate currency processing machinery and use cashier software daily.
Observe and report unusual guest activities and ensure security.
