Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley is seeking a Cage Cashier to manage financial transactions, balance bank drawers, and ensure accurate paperwork each shift. You will operate currency processing machinery and software, redeem various instruments, and monitor for unusual guest activity to maintain security.

Role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork. Eligible for gaming licenses; some roles prefer prior cash handling experience.

Qualifications

• Previous money handling experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Balance money received and disbursed using the assigned bank drawer.
• Process large jackpots, guest transactions, and check-cashing.
• Check mutilated currency and prepare it for bank return.
• Redeem coupons, coins, chips, and tokens for cash.
• Perform check-cashing services, including debit/credit card services.
• Redeem and validate EZ Pay tickets and script checks.
• Operate currency processing machinery and related software.
• Use check-cashing, guest database, ATM, and Title 31 software.
• Observe and report unusual guest activities.
