Job summary

Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures is seeking a Cage Cashier for Grand Casinos in Hinckley, MN. You will handle cash transactions, balance drawers, and use gaming software to ensure accurate end-of-shift paperwork.

You will process jackpots, check cashing, currency exchanges, and other monetary services while maintaining high security and exceptional guest service. Training and compliance with gaming regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Previous money handling experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Accurately balance money received and disbursed, including the assigned bank drawer.
• Process large jackpots, guest transactions, and check-cashing services.
• Check for mutilated currency and prepare it for return to the bank.
• Redeem coupons, coins, chips, and tokens for guests in exchange for cash.
• Perform check-cashing services, including debit/credit card services.
• Redeem and validate EZ Pay tickets and script checks.
• Operate basic cash processing machinery and related software.
• Observe and report unusual guest activities.
