Job summary

160 Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati LLC is seeking a Cage Cashier to manage high-volume cash and non-cash transactions in a fast-paced casino environment. This role requires accurate balancing of imprest banks and precise entry of guest transactions, with strict adherence to internal controls and gaming regulations.

Under the direction of the Cage Shift Manager and Supervisor, you will ensure proper cash transfers, paperwork preparation, and daily reconciliation, while upholding the company values

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of cash handling experience required.
• Cage operations experience preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Balance and issue imprest banks issued to F&B and Hotel team members.
• Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
• Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with the Ohio Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
• Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain integrity of the Cage operation.
• Apply accurate transaction and balancing practices.
• Participate in the daily cage reconciliation process.
• Comply with Federal Title 31 laws.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
• Promote positive public/team member relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
