Job summary

The Fairmount Park Casino & Racing is seeking a Cage Cashier to perform cashiering functions for guests in line with established standards and controls. You will handle cash transactions, exchange cash for slot tickets, process checks, issue player cards, balance funds at shift end, and ensure AML compliance.

About Us

Job Description:

As a Cage Cashier, conduct cashiering functions for casino guests in accordance with established standards and controls.

Responsibilities** :**

• Greets and services customers in accordance with established guest service standards.
• Handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks.
• Makes casino player’s cards.
• Processes checks.
• Computes, classifies, records, and verifies cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards.
• Provides even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash. Processes jackpots. Provides change and breaks down bills.
• Balances funds and assets at end of work shift.
• Responds to guest questions and concerns.
• Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years cashier or related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing required.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
• Exposure to smoke filled environment and high noise level.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Base Pay Range:

20.00

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
