Job summary

Fairmount Park, Inc. is hiring a Cage Cashier to conduct cashiering for casino guests in line with established standards. You will greet guests, handle cash and related transactions, issue player cards, and help ensure accurate cash flow.

The role requires 21+, a high school diploma, and cash-handling experience; licensing may be required. You must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be able to interact in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

## Cage CashierApplylocations: Fairmount Parkposted on: Posted 30+ Days Agojob requisition id: R-101196**About Us****Job Description:**As a Cage Cashier,conduct cashiering functions for casino guests in accordance with established standards and controls. **Responsibilities****:*** Greets and services customers in accordance with established guest service standards.* Handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks.* Makes casino player’s cards.* Processes checks.* Computes, classifies, records, and verifies cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards.* Provides even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash. Processes jackpots. Provides change and breaks down bills.* Balances funds and assets at end of work shift.* Responds to guest questions and concerns.* Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.* Performs all other duties as assigned.**Qualifications:*** Must be 21 years of age or older.* High school diploma or equivalent.* One or more years cashier or related experience preferred.* Must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.* Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing required.**Physical and Mental Demands:*** Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.* Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.* Exposure to smoke filled environment and high noise level.**Job Type: Full-time/Part-time****Base Pay Range:**20.00*This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
