Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Charles is seeking a Cage Cashier to assist guests with exchanging currency for casino chips and credits, selling gambling chips, paying jackpots, and handling diverse monetary transactions at the cage window.

Requirements include at least one year of cash handling, ability to operate a computer terminal, knowledge of 10-key, and strong interpersonal skills; minimum age 21; position offers benefits, 401(k), PTO, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience; six months of cage cashier experience is preferred.

• Control and accounting of transactions for the cage window, main bank, chip bank and check bank
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Responsible for the impress bank issued
• Performs guest and in house monetary transactions
• Balance and issue impress bank to Floor Attendants, Food and Beverage and Hotel employees
• Report and log all Title 31 transactions
