Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Cage Cashier to assist guests with currency exchanges for chips, currency, and other casino instruments. The role includes selling chips, payout of jackpots, and handling credit applications, with a $750 sign-on bonus and tip-based earnings.

The ideal candidate has cash handling experience, strong customer service, and the ability to operate a computer terminal in a fast-paced casino setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cash handling experience; 6 months cage cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control and account for all cage window transactions and related banks.

Overview

Cage Cashier

This position is in a shared Tip Pool anf earns an average of $5.50 per hour additional wages.

$750 Sign on Bonus:

• $100 after 30 days
• $200 after 60 days
• $450 after 90 days

A Cage Cashier is responsible for assisting customers in the exchange of U.S. currency for casino chips, credit chips, cash, foreign currency, Golden Nugget documents, negotiable instruments, and ambassadors of company good will. This role also sells gambling chips, tokens, or tickets to casino patrons, pay out jackpots and manages credit applications.

Responsibilities

• Control and accounting of transactions for the cage window, main bank, chip bank and check bank
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Responsible for the impress bank issued
• Performs guest and in house monetary transactions
• Balance and issue impress bank to Floor Attendants, Food and Beverage and Hotel employees
• Report and log all Title 31 transactions

USD $16.50 - $17.00 /Hr.
