Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a casino cashier team member to manage cage transactions, balance cash drawers, and ensure accurate chip handling. The role requires strict adherence to Nevada Gaming Regulations and company policies, with a focus on courteous guest service and accurate data entry.

Candidates should have at least a year of cashier and casino customer service experience, high school diploma, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year cashier and casino customer service experience required.
• Data entry and previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control and account for cage window and chip bank transactions.
• Adhere to Nevada Gaming Regulations and GSR policies and procedures.
• Deliver courteous and professional guest service at all times.
• Balance and issue bank to floor attendants, food & beverage, and hotel team members.
• Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cage and departments.
• Enter guest transactions into the company computer system accurately.
• Prepare paperwork and balance sheets per standards and internal controls.
• Assist with kiosk fills and reconciliation duties.
• Any other duties within scope of position.
