Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a CAD Specialist to prepare architectural CAD files for CAFM, create room/equipment records in AutoCAD, and maintain CAD/CAFM standards. You will update drawings with as-built data and support CAFM/IWMS initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT or related field and ~1 year CAD experience with AutoCAD or Revit, plus strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 1 year of experience in computer aided drafting using AutoCAD or Revit or equivalent training.
• Advanced computer skills and database proficiency; knowledge of CAFM/IWMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural CAD files for the CAFM system and create space polylines.
• Create room and equipment records in AutoCAD for the CAFM system.
• Develop standard layering conventions for third party design firms and maintain CAD/CAFM standards.
• Update drawings with as-built data.
• Develop the CAFM system and provide improvement recommendations.
• Maintain and update the Facilities department web presence.
• May train and develop other associates.
• Coordinate with vendors/architects/engineers for data documents.
