Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CAD/Facilities Technician to prepare architectural CAD files for CAFM and to create room/equipment records in AutoCAD. You will develop standard layering conventions and update drawings with as-built data, contributing to CAFM system enhancements and maintaining CAD/CAFM standards manuals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field and about 1 year of CAD experience (AutoCAD or Revit).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
1 year of experience in CAD using AutoCAD or Revit or equivalent training.
Experience with space management and CMMS preferred.
Knowledge of CAFM/IWMS and CAD standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare architectural CAD files for CAFM use and create space polylines.
Create room and equipment records in AutoCAD for CAFM systems.
Develop layering conventions and maintain CAD/CAFM standards manual.
Update drawings with as-built data and support CAFM system development.
Coordinate site visits and assist with on-site data collection and Redline updates.
Maintain Facilities dept web presence and support training for associates.
