Job summary

Dracut Public Schools seeks part-time Cafeteria Workers to support daily food service in a school setting. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast and lunch meals.
• Serve food according to portion and nutrition guidelines.
• Set up and break down serving lines and dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and cafeteria.
• Follow proper food safety and handling procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (ovens, slicers, warmers).
• Restock food, supplies, and condiments as needed.
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to students and staff.
• Assist with dishwashing and waste disposal.
• Support special events, catering, or school functions as needed.

Job Description

The Dracut Public Schools Food Service Department is seeking part-time Cafeteria Workers.

The Cafeteria Worker supports daily food service operations in a school setting. This role includes food preparation, meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing a positive dining experience for students and staff, all while following all safety and nutrition guidelines.

• Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast and lunch meals
