Job summary

You will supervise a Cafeteria team, coordinate with culinary and facilities, and manage inventory and labor to deliver consistent guest experiences for team members during evenings and key business periods.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervisory experience in upscale, high-volume hotel preferred.
• Experienced in ingredients, techniques, and operating kitchen equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards.
• Certification as Food Service Manager or other as required by regulations.
• Effective leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Culinary degree or equivalent formal training preferred
• Excellent guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Team Member Cafeteria with focus on quality and sanitation.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Cafeteria team members.
• Monitor food quality, portion and presentation standards.
• Assist with menu execution and recipe adherence.
• Conduct regular inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving and storage practices.
• Schedule workforce and assign daily tasks.
• Partner with culinary, procurement and facilities teams to support operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve food quality and efficiency.
• Maintain attendance and flexibility to cover shifts.
