Spring Lake Park Schools is seeking an On-Call Nutrition Services worker to support all sites as needed. Hours range from 3 to 5 hours per day with a pay rate of $21.15 per hour. Benefits include sick leave and a $1.00 per hour differential for Certified Food Manager certification, plus potential longevity pay.

The role emphasizes customer service to students and staff, adherence to food safety standards, and teamwork in a fast-paced cafeteria environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and a pre-work physical required.
• Provide and pass 3 professional reference checks.
• Working knowledge of computers including email.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry level duties as assigned by the kitchen manager including food prep, serve, cashier and operate a dishmachine.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with students, staff and co-workers.
• Attend job-related trainings (4 hours/year).
• Follow SOPs and HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of food safety per Minnesota Food Code.
