Job summary

Mounds View Public Schools is hiring a Nutrition Service Employee to assist in meal preparation and service in our school cafeterias. Work Mon-Fri, about 4.75 hours per day, with a start ASAP.

Compensation is $20.02 per hour plus additional pay based on certification levels, and benefits include medical, dental and paid time off under the Nutrition Services labor agreement. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain SNA Level I certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food supplies, measure ingredients and assist with preparation of meals according to specifications.
• Assist with preparation of food for shipping to other locations.
• Clean all equipment and areas; wash dishes and utensils used in meal preparation.
• Set up serving line and gather carts, trays, napkins and utensils; place items for customers.
• Assist with preparation of sandwiches, desserts, salads and other items.
• Serve food to customers.
• Attend workshops and trainings for growth and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
