Chartwells K-12 is hiring for a Kitchen Utility Lead at Pen Argyl. The role supports shift supervisors, ensures quality service and safety, and helps manage daily schedules in a school dining setting.

The position requires prior ServSafe certification and offers full-time hours with a starting pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Benefits and campus-based responsibilities are included. Training and performance feedback accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or school dining operations preferred.
• Ability to train and support staff and supervise in absence of leads.
• Follows safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Demonstrates flexible scheduling and coverage when short-staffed.

Responsibilities

• Assist shift supervisors and department directors in day-to-day operations.
• Maintain high quality in all department duties through training and supervision.
• Ensure daily schedules are assigned and completed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional interactions with customers and patients.
• Relieve shift supervisor in absence and cover scheduling as needed.
• Identify equipment issues and report shortages.
• Conduct customer and patient surveys.
• Communicate with team to ensure safety and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
