Job summary

Bay Area Hospital in Fort Bridger, WY is seeking a Food Service Associate II to provide outstanding cafeteria service and prepare grilled and fried foods following standardized recipes.

Responsibilities include serving customers, delivering catering requests, stocking areas via FIFO, and maintaining clean, sanitary workspaces. Ability to operate food service equipment and comply with safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write legibly and converse in English
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Must have or obtain Oregon Food Handler or Food Manager Certification within 30 days of hire
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Oregon State Driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Serves customers in cafeteria and makes espresso drinks
• Delivers catering requests
• Rotates and stocks needed areas using FIFO
• Keeps work area organized, stocked, clean and sanitary
• Prepares sandwiches and pizzas for customers
• Follows safe food handling and sanitation procedures
• Documents information per department procedures
• Uses grill and fryer to prepare foods
• Cleans grill, fryer and broiler used in preparation of foods
• Follows production time schedules
• Serves customers with correct portion sizes
• Participates in hospital committees or task forces
• Operates Food & Nutrition Services equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
