School - Staff - Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has an opening for a Cafeteria Cook for the upcoming 2026-27 year. This position is responsible for providing support in the cafeteria and working with assigned food service tasks as requested by the school, including preparing, cooking, and serving food, and cleaning. This person will also be responsible for understanding certain food preparation procedures and the use of kitchen equipment. The Cafeteria Cook performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Schedule: 6:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m., Monday- Friday.

Qualifications:

• High-school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Knowledge of food handling.
• Knowledge of kitchen appliances and knife skills.
• Basic math and reading knowledge and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Good oral and written English-language communication skills.
• Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church. Experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have a pleasant, service-oriented demeanor.
