St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Plantation, Florida has an open position for a Lunchroom Supervisor. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with children and skilled at monitoring activity and behavior. This person must demonstrate a strong balance of attentiveness with a nurturing disposition, understanding that children who are happy and well cared for at lunch time start the afternoons refreshed and ready to learn.

Responsibilities include:

• Encourage good table manners.
• Assist with the flow of meal service.
• Circulate throughout the cafeteria where meals are served and/or eaten assisting students.
• Dismiss classes in an orderly manner at the scheduled time.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the cafeteria.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Strong English language skills with the ability to communicate with co‑workers, students, faculty and parents.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
