Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a friendly Food Service Cashier to greet customers, ring up purchases, and maintain a clean, efficient register area. You will follow cash handling policies, assist with stocking, and ensure accurate transactions in a fast-paced cafeteria environment.

High school diploma or GED is preferred, plus customer service experience. Flexible shifts within a 5:30 am–5:00 pm window and every other weekend/rotating holidays offer variety and stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide pleasant service.
• Operate electronic cash registers accurately and efficiently.
• Follow cash handling policies and reconcile cash variance.
• Assist with inventory and stocking as needed.
• Keep register area clean and organized.
