Job summary

Wake County Public School System is seeking a Cashier/Assistant in the Child Nutrition Services to prepare, cook and serve meals, salads and a la carte items, following standardized recipes and keeping accurate documentation of food preparation. Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and serves meals, salads and a la carte items according to standardized recipes and keeps accurate documentation of food preparation.
• Acts as cashier to collect money, records meal counts and deposits, and supports daily cafeteria operations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation duties, ensures kitchen and dining areas comply with codes and policies.
• Collaborates with school staff and communicates effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
