Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring a friendly Cashier to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will handle the register, assist in meal preparation, and stock supplies while creating meaningful interactions with customers.

We offer guaranteed hours with no nights or weekends, free daily lunch, provided uniforms, PPE, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred
• Ability to count money and make change
• Familiar with basic computer tasks
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Must pass a criminal background check

As a Cashier with Taher, Inc., you play one of the most important roles in delivering an exceptional guest experience. We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and happy people who enjoy making a connection with others.

In addition to running point of sale, you will assist the team in food prep, some light stocking, and cleaning. But most importantly, you will create meaningful interactions with our customers.

Essential Functions:

• Greet guests promptly with eye contact and a smile
• Maintains the point of sale, entering all items accurately and efficiently
• Assists in meal preparation including making salads, deli sandwiches, cleaning fresh fruits and vegetables etc.
• Stocks and prepares condiments and utensils
• Contributes to a positive work environment
• Demonstrates integrity and respects confidentiality
• Punctual and dependable
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines
• Self-starter that can work independently
• Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership
