Val Verde Unified School District is seeking a food service-oriented candidate. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of experience preparing and serving food.

A Food Handler’s Certificate or ServSafe Manager Certificate is required or substitutable with the latter. This position requires adherence to district nondiscrimination policies and completion of all employment disclosures as part of the application process.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from high School or G.E.D. equivalent
• Six months of experience preparing and serving food in a food service operation; or some combination of post secondary education, training, and experience in a related field that produces the requisite knowledge and ability is preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate issued by the Riverside County Health Department to the attained at time of employment and maintained during employment. This may be substituted with a ServSafe Manager Certificate.
