Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in Brunswick, ME is hiring a Full-time Café Train Attendant (Downeaster) to provide friendly service on daily train trips between Brunswick and Boston.

You will operate the POS system, assist customers, handle light food prep, serve beverages (including alcohol) and keep the café clean and inviting.

This front‑of‑house role requires excellent customer service, independent work, and a flexible schedule within a nationwide hospitality family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food/customer service preferred.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Run the point of sale system and assist customers as needed.
• Set up and restock product displays and workstations.
• Light food prep and grab-and-go items.
• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages including alcohol.
• Maintain a clean, presentable café area and assist customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns.
