Job summary

NexDine is hiring Café Train Attendants for trips between Brunswick, ME and Boston. You will serve passengers, assist during checkout, handle cash/credit transactions, and help with light prep and stocking. The role may include warehouse duties and occasional driving to pick up supplies.

We value excellent customer service and the ability to interact with the public on a train setting. This is a front‑of‑house, customer‑focused position requiring a can-do attitude.

Job description

Café Train Attendants

NexDine is in search of energetic Cafe Attendants to join our team on the Downeaster train! The Café Attendant is responsible for operations including serving and assisting customers during their train trip from Brunswick, Maine to Boston and back. Duties include but are not limited to serving and assisting customers during the check-out process, managing cash and/or credit transactions, light food prep including grab and go items as well as stocking coolers while maintaining clean and orderly servery/dining areas. This position would also include work in the warehouse to help prep with supplies and may occasionally drive the company van to pick up supplies.

Café Train Attendants must have an excellent personality and be comfortable interacting with the public. In addition, the Café Train Attendant will be responsible for serving food and beverages, including alcohol while on the train.

This is a front of the house position; exceptional customer service skills with a can-do attitude are a must!

Position: Cafe Train Attendant - $500 Sign on Bonus!

Location: Brunswick, Maine

Schedule: 3:30 am - 12:25 pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!

Hours: Full-time

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00/hr + Tips

Pay Frequency: Weekly - Direct Deposit
