Job summary

Panera Bread, a bakery-cafe, is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to provide warm hospitality and efficient service to guests. You’ll greet customers, assemble fresh salads and sandwiches, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

This role requires a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is often needed; prior food service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make guests smile.
• Passion for creating moments of comfort and joy.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible for evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Food safety training / Food Handler’s Card as required by law.
• Food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties across Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, etc.
• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency.
• Stay on the move assisting guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment following standards.
• Be informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes.
• Support team by cleaning, stocking, and setting up the next shift.
