Job summary

Scheels is seeking a Cafe Associate for Ginna's/Fuzziwigs in Overland Park, KS. This full-time, on-site role offers $20/hour and includes employee discounts. You will handle cafe duties, candy shop tasks, and food preparation while delivering a WOW customer experience.

Responsibilities include recipe knowledge, fudge deadlines, food safety compliance, and flexible scheduling. High school education or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients, including candy, baked goods, and fudge, for sale to customers.
• Perform all Café, Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions, including deli, food case, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain working knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foods.
• Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests.
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, state, and local ordinances.
• Ensure products are received and stored according to SOPs.
• Follow Scheels Cashier Guidelines for Café registers.
• Manage daily cleaning schedules and opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain an orderly, clean personal workspace and dining areas.
• Perform repetitive fudge production processes (stirring, pulling, cutting).
• Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
• Read and interpret operating and safety documents.
• Work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
