Job summary

The Olympia Companies, in partnership with The Alfond Inn and Olympia Hospitality, seeks a Café Supervisor to lead daily café operations at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park, FL. Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain food and beverage quality while guiding the café team, ensuring consistency and hospitality that reflects our community-focused ethos and high standards.

This role emphasizes supervisory leadership, barista capability, inventory awareness, and proficient use of POS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in café/restaurant/hotel operations.
• At least one year in supervisory or team leadership.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Knowledge of service standards, inventory, POS, and cash handling.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Café with a focus on guest service and food/beverage quality.
• Provide effective team leadership and supervision during shifts.
• Oversee food and beverage service at the hotel's Main Pool and Spa Pool.
• Ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

The Café Supervisor leads daily operations of the Café at The Alfond Inn at Rollins. This firsthand supervisory position focuses primarily on delivering an exceptional Café experience through outstanding guest service, consistent food and beverage quality, effective team leadership, and efficient daily operations. The Café Supervisor is also responsible for operational oversight of food and beverage service at the hotel's Main Pool and Spa Pool.

Skills/Experience/Education Required:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or comparable operation preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory, shift leadership, or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Previous barista experience and café operations strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
