Job summary

The Alfond Inn, part of Olympia Hospitality, seeks a Café Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Café at The Alfond Inn. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, consistent beverage and food quality, and strong team leadership, with additional oversight for the hotel’s Main Pool and Spa Pool dining services.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in café/restaurant/hospitality, prior supervisory experience, and barista/café operations knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of café/restaurant/hotel operations experience.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Previous barista experience and café operations familiarity preferred.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service standards, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily café operations with focus on guest service and quality.
• Provide effective team leadership and supervision.
• Oversee food & beverage service at hotel pools (Main Pool and Spa Pool).
• Maintain standard operating procedures for barista and café workflows.

The Café Supervisor leads daily operations of the Café at The Alfond Inn at Rollins. This firsthand supervisory position focuses primarily on delivering an exceptional Café experience through outstanding guest service, consistent food and beverage quality, effective team leadership, and efficient daily operations. The Café Supervisor is also responsible for operational oversight of food and beverage service at the hotel's Main Pool and Spa Pool.

Skills/Experience/Education Required:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or comparable operation preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory, shift leadership, or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Previous barista experience and café operations strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
