The Washington Athletic Club (WAC) in Seattle invites applications for a Café Person to support food and beverage operations. You will prepare and display food, serve Members and Guests, and cashier at the WAC Café, contributing to smooth cafe service within a prestigious city institution.

The role requires deli prep and cashiering experience, a valid WA Food Handler’s Permit, and a Mandatory Alcohol Server Training permit.

Qualifications

• 1 year deli preparation and cashiering experience required.
• Washington State Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Class 12 or 13 MAST (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) permit required.
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Gather food items from kitchen and transport to the WAC Café.
• Prepare food for display and purchase, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Act as a cashier for the WAC Café, handle sales and till counts.
