Daily Provisions on the Upper West Side in New York seeks a Cafe Sous Chef to partner with the Cafe Chef, upholding Daily Provisions standards across prep and service. You will mentor line cooks and BOH team, ensure health code compliance, train new hires, and contribute to an Enlightened Hospitality culture that delivers outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of culinary/kitchen leadership in casual dining.
• Excellent food & beverage knowledge and passion for culinary excellence.
• Experience in training and developing Back of House team members.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Enlightened Hospitality and ensure quality across service.
• Partner with FOH and BOH teams to execute Daily Provisions standards.
• Direct team and expedite service to ensure timely food flow.
• Train and develop hourly team members and new hires.
• Maintain health code standards and clean kitchen.
• Support and manage front-of-house operations as needed.
