Position Summary

The Café Shift Leader will provide leadership to deliver a remarkable experience for our customers and co-workers, aligned with Colectivo Coffee’s Mission and Values, under the supervision of the Café Manager.

Responsibilities

• Deliver positive financial results in accordance with the budget.
• Develop and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, adhering to SOPs and processes.
• Train and develop co-workers to ensure high performance.
• Delegate responsibilities using the Café Functional Architecture Model.
• Ensure the café’s coffee, food, and administrative functions provide a remarkable customer experience.
• Maintain a positive and inviting tone for customers and co-workers.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• College degree in a business-related field and/or at least 6 months of experience in hospitality or supervisory roles.
• Proficient in POS and computer programs.
• Basic math skills for business use.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to see, read, and write in English.
• Completion of Colectivo Café training programs, including Register, SB, 300-level bar certification, and New Hire Orientation.

Compensation

Starting at $15.07 plus tips.
