Job summary

Urban Air Café Manager is responsible for overseeing Café operations within Urban Air Adventure Parks, guiding Team Members, and ensuring fast, friendly service. Much time is spent in the kitchen and service area cooking, preparing and serving food to guests with urgency and a guest-first attitude.

The role requires supervising the Café Team to meet standards, ensuring proper inventory control, and training staff on menu items and drinks while maintaining cleanliness and high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years’ previous F&B experience (quick service and/or restaurant).
• 1-3 years’ management experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must have a current ServSafe or similar Food Handling Certification, or be willing to attain within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the proper execution of all processes, systems and standards.
• Ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged.
• Maintain effective inventory control, storage, and rotation to minimize wastage.
• Manage the Café Team, ensuring they always work to the expected standards.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and stay beyond when business or circumstances dictate.
• Train Café staff in preparing the full menu and front-of-house staff in drinks and ready-to-eat foods to high standards.
• Set a high standard for Café staff regarding punctuality, attendance and attitude.
• Set a high standard for Café staff regarding cleanliness and hygiene, including deep cleaning schedules.
• Maintain a clear, well-organized and accessible Café.
• Handle guest concerns regarding the Café.
• Participate in staff meetings and training as required.
• Other duties as tasked by General Manager.
