Job summary

Daily Provisions in New York City is seeking a proactive Cafe Manager to lead Front of House and Back of House teams and partner with General Managers across locations to deliver our Enlightened Hospitality standard.

You'll manage daily operations, maintain service excellence, ensure HR compliance, payroll accuracy, and staff growth, with a focus on guest experience and a positive work environment. 2+ years of management in hospitality preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years management experience in a similar environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job (preferred, not required).
• Understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
• NYC DOHMH Food Protection Certificate holder.
• English fluency and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate Enlightened Hospitality for all stakeholders.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of beverage and kitchen stations.
• Ensure phenomenal service for in-store and digital orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory control across the store.
• Support FOH/BOH staff and participate in the service cycle.
• Ensure HR practices and policies are followed and disciplinary procedures when necessary.
• Oversee payroll accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure health department compliance.
• Provide guidance for team growth and development.
• Assist in growing the team as needed.
