Job summary

The Campus in Chester County is seeking a Café Manager to oversee daily operations of the rink café, including food preparation, inventory, staff supervision, and customer service. This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality food service, guest experiences, and health and safety compliance.

The Café Manager will lead staff, manage supplies, and support events and Summer Camp programs while ensuring a welcoming and profitable café environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Foodservice or café/kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Food Production & Guest Service: Prepare menu items and assist guests at the register.
• Cleaning, Safety & Health Department Compliance: Maintain cleanliness and health standards.
• Inventory & Ordering: Manage food/beverage supplies and inventory counts.
• Administrative & Operational Duties: Process invoices, budgeting, and scheduling.

PositionSummary

TheCaféManagerisresponsibleforoverseeingthedailyoperationsoftherinkcafé,ensuringhigh-qualityfoodservice,excellentcustomerexperiences,andcompliancewithallhealthandsafetystandards.Thisroleincludesfoodpreparation,staffsupervision,inventorymanagement,orderingsupplies,andsupportingcaféoperationsforevents,parties,andSummerCampprograms.

• Preparemenuitemsusingfryer,flat-topgrill,outdoorgrill,andoven
• Assistcustomersattheregisterandprovideexcellentservice
• Upsellmenuitemsandmaintainawelcomingcaféenvironment
• Handlecashandreconcileregisterbalancesattheendofshifts
• Assistwithfoodpreparation,servingandrestockingasneeded

Cleaning,Safety &HealthDepartmentCompliance

• Maintaincleanlinessandsanitationstandardsinallcaféandfoodprepareas
• EnsureallproceduresmeetHealthDepartmentregulations

Inventory &Ordering

• Processinvoicesandmonitorcaféexpenseswithinbudget
• Assistwithmenuplanningandcostcontrol
• Developproceduresthatimprovecaféefficiencyandoperations
• Cafe staff scheduling
