Responsibilities:

1. Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers.
2. Perform all Ginna’s cafe functions, including barista duties, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other tasks as assigned by Ginna’s Manager and Supervisors.
3. Follow all food safety guidelines per State and Local Ordinances.
4. Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines.
5. Assist in training new associates on kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and Standard Operating Guidelines.
6. Ensure cash control and till management adhere to Scheels Cashier Guidelines.
7. Support side work, daily and detailed cleaning schedules, as well as opening and closing procedures.
8. Maintain knowledge of Café recipes and prepared foods.
9. Maintain an orderly and clean personal workspace and surrounding areas.
10. Present a professional appearance and attitude, contribute positively to team dynamics, and treat others with respect, following Scheels’ policies and procedures.
11. Perform basic math operations with currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
12. Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.
13. Work scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
14. Prepare various types of food, drinks, and ingredients.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical & Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without accommodations. Physical demands include exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
