Job summary

French Truck Coffee in Baton Rouge is looking for a Cafe Manager to lead front-of-house and kitchen teams and own daily cafe operations from scheduling to inventory and customer service.

You’ll coach and develop your team, drive safety and quality, and partner with the Operations Manager to meet labor and productivity goals. This hands-on leader role requires a proactive approach and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of management experience in food and beverage is required.
• Operations management experience in food service, hospitality, or food manufacturing preferred.
• ServSafe certification is preferred and must be obtained within six months if not already held.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house and kitchen teams, build weekly schedules, manage attendance, oversee ordering and inventory.
• Partner with Operations Manager to hit safety, quality, productivity, and labor goals.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, organize monthly team meetings, and ensure training programs are implemented.
