Job summary

Urban Air Aurora is hiring Café BOH/FOH Team Members to work in the café area, handling both kitchen and service duties. You will interact with guests, prepare and serve food and drinks, operate in a fast-paced setting, and help maintain cleanliness and stock.

The role emphasizes guest care, efficiency, and teamwork in a dynamic entertainment venue. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior quick-service experience, basic math skills, and ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, some College preferred
• Previous restaurant/quick service experience preferred
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction) required
• ServSafe or similar food handling certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at the counter with guest relations and care
• Offer guidance on menu items to ensure positive guest experiences
• Maintain adequate stock levels for the Café area
• Upsell to maximize profit while managing queues
• Keep Café and surrounding areas tidy and clean; clear dishes and trash
• Address guest complaints and report feedback to Leadership
• Follow established guidelines and procedures
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Cook and store foods at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per procedure
• Ensure compliance with health code regulations
• Maintain organized kitchen and storage areas
• Participate in staff meetings and training
• Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership
