Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Café in Bluffton, SC is seeking enthusiastic Café Crew Members to deliver friendly service and high-quality food and smoothies in a fast-paced environment.

You will prepare and assemble food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards, operate the register, handle cash, and maintain clean workstations. Training is provided; opportunities for advancement exist within a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude.
• Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations.
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café.
• Operates the register, takes orders, handles cash, and maintains the drawer.
• Lifts and carries up to 25 pounds for refills and restocking.
• Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Café.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude
• Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards while working in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café
• Follows steps to operate the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash
• Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Café
