Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Café is seeking Café Crew Members to deliver friendly service and maintain brand standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

You will prepare food and smoothies, operate the register, follow sanitation rules, restock supplies, and help keep the café clean and welcoming for guests.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with crew and customers with a fun, welcoming attitude.
• Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards in a fast-paced setting.
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations.
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, and restrooms.
• Operates the register: taking orders, handling cash, and managing the drawer.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash.
• Follows all safety and security policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude
• Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards while working in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café
• Follows steps to operate the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash
• Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Café
